Why do you use so many props?
Every body is different and everyone has a different range of motion. To support every indiviual body in the best way it is essential to use props if needed. Props are also a big help to completely relax into the poses and get the rest you need. So I think props are a great way to support you in your practice.
You don't need all the fancy yoga props, simply grab what you have: couch pillows, blankets, books, ...
